I feel like I should have something to offer for this one as often as I write about it, but I don’t believe I do. It is a compelling dynamic for sure. Forbidden or taboo feel a bit like relics from another era and may not resonate today. A sense of curiosity, the allure of the unknown, and desire to explore feel like good brainstorming phrases. Places unexplored or unknown are often associated with darkness. In the case of a black and white relationship, “dark desire” might work and serve as a play on words too.
Forbidden love. Kind of like the Capulets and the Montagues. Not really a happy ever after romance but makes for conflict. Today the story could be changed from the tragic ending and turned into acceptance.

I agree, TJ. Forbidden romance is also one of my favourites. Unlikely matches us another good one that could be packed with conflict.
