Robecca Austin was born in Linden, Guyana – Guyana was ruled by the Dutch, French, and British. But, thank goodness Guyana got their independence by the time she was born. Growing up, she played cricket in the neighbourhood park and took special pleasure when she was chosen on a team before her brothers.
After high school, she moved to Silver Spring, Maryland and attended college. It was there that she met her husband. They soon married and had two children.
Robecca has always loved creating stories. Writing gets her through her daily battle with Cystic Fibrosis – a genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and sinuses.
In addition to family, she’s works in the financial industry, but secretly wishes to write full time.
She is the author of romance and paranormal stories. Founder of ColorfulPen.com, she also contributes to Wordsilly.com and other sites. Her non-fiction articles have appeared a number of times in Vision: A resource for Writers, published by, A Conspiracy of Authors.
